We are delighted to share the schedule of events and activities planned for the month of August 2025 at MGM School, Morena. This month’s calendar is thoughtfully designed to foster cultural awareness, practical learning, patriotism, and a sense of social responsibility among our students.
8th August 2025 (Friday)
Rakhi Celebration
The festival of Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated in the school to promote the spirit of siblinghood, unity, and cultural tradition. Students will take part in creative activities and cultural expressions related to the occasion.
9th August 2025 (Saturday)
Holiday – Raksha Bandhan
The school will remain closed on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. We extend heartfelt wishes to all students, parents, and staff for a joyous and meaningful celebration.
12th & 13th August 2025 (Tuesday & Wednesday)
District-Level Taekwondo Championship
The District-Level Taekwondo Championship will be hosted at the MGM School premises. Participants from various schools across the district will take part in this prestigious event. This championship aims to promote sportsmanship, discipline, and physical fitness among students.
14th August 2025 (Thursday)
Janmashtami Celebration
Janmashtami will be celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm on campus. The event will include cultural performances and activities related to the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
15th August 2025 (Friday)
Independence Day Celebration
The 78th Independence Day of India will be observed with patriotic zeal. The celebration will feature flag hoisting, tributes to freedom fighters, and cultural presentations including dance, music, and drama by our students.
16th August 2025 (Saturday)
Holiday – Janmashtami
The school will remain closed on the occasion of Janmashtami. We extend heartfelt wishes to all students, parents, and staff for a joyous and meaningful celebration.
27th August 2025 (Wednesday)
Ganesh Chaturthi Sthapana
Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated in school with a traditional sthapana (installation) of Lord Ganesha. The program will include devotional songs, prayers, and student participation aimed at fostering spiritual and cultural values.
27th & 28th August 2025 (Wednesday & Thursday)
Monthly Tests – August
Monthly assessments for all classes will be conducted over two days. Students are advised to revise thoroughly and appear for the exams with sincerity and confidence.
30th August 2025 (Saturday)
A PTM will be held to discuss students’ academic performance, learning behaviour, and overall development. All parents are encouraged to attend and actively engage with teachers for their child’s progress.
